This program is intended to provide directors with resources, strategies, and examples of addressing the issues. REI facilitators will use stories and data in their lively and participatory three-hour presentation to describe and illuminate how racism is fundamentally structural in nature. REI uses characteristics of modern-day racial inequity to analyse the present-day characteristics of racism and give participants tools to bring to their lives and work. Following the presentation, participants will discuss and begin to explore the ways these insights can be applied to the field of bioethics.
